11/11 was a particularly lucky day for some New York City country music fans. The energy was up and beers were being cheers-ed at the Edison Ballroom in midtown during Pandora Presents: Tim McGraw, an exclusive album release party and performance. The event was free and open to the public with a RSVP on a first come first serve basis, bringing hundreds of New Yorkers to 47th Street in Times Square hoping to get inside. The ones fortunate enough to make it in got to celebrate the release of the Grammy Award winner’s 14th studio album, Damn Country Music, with the Billboard chart topper himself, while singing along to new hits and old favorites like “California” and “Live Like You Were Dying”.
Pandora is a platform dedicated to being a place where artists find their fans and listeners find the music they love, and listeners love Tim McGraw. He’s the 25th most played artist overall and #5 in the country genre. His music has been spun an impressive 3.65 billion times on Pandora.
The show may be over but, Pandora further collaborated with McGraw and Big Machine Label Group to curate a custom mixtape made up of songs that have inspired Tim throughout his career. http://pdora.co/damncountrymusic
