BID Against Hunger

October 19, 2017 @ 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm

A Roaming Truffle Tater Tot Bar, Donut Wall, Food Magician, and VIP speakeasy by Geoffrey Zakarian? If you think this sounds like the ultimate foodie paradise, you’re right. City Harvest’s Annual BID AGAINST HUNGER event is the perfect combination of feel-good and taste-great. Known as New York City’s premier culinary tasting event, BID helps support City Harvest’s work feeding New Yorkers in need and hopes to raise enough money to rescue and deliver 6.4 million pounds of food.

BID will feature over 50 of New York City’s best chefs, restaurants, and mixologists, such as Eric Ripert of Le Bernardin, Carmen Quagliata of Union Square Cafe, Scott Conant of Fusco, and Missy Robbins of Lilia, exceptional live and silent auctions, unique entertainment and gaming tables, and an incredible “GZ’s Speakeasy” VIP Room hosted by Geoffrey Zakarian of The Lambs Club, where more surprises await.

Highlights include: a LIVE auction with amazing prizes (like a 4-night stay in the Cayman Islands and Cayman Cookout with Chef Eric Ripert, a Speakeasy Bar Crawl for 6 guests with Chef Geoffrey Zakarian, Scott Conant and Marc Murphy to NYC’s top cocktail bar, and more); a Donut Wall by UnderWest Donuts; a gaming section with black jack, roulette, craps, magic by The Foodie Magician, live ice carvings by top mixologists from PDT and Mulberry Project, and interactive croissant x crème puff station with Francois Payard, and much much more.
